Established in 1994 and now in its 18th year, the International Benicàssim Festival, FIB, near Valencia, Spain is back for 2012 from Thursday 12th until Sunday 15th July. With camping thrown in from 9th until 16th July with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park.


Headliners Bob Dylan, The Stone Roses, New Order, and Florence + The Machine (De La Soul), are joined by Jessie J, Robyn Hitchcock and The Venus 3, At The Drive In, New Order, Noel Gallagher´s High Flying Birds, David Guetta, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Maccabees, Dave Clarke, Little Dragon, Bat For Lashes, Yuksek, SebastiAn, Delorentos, Crystal Castles, The Horrors, Katy B, Miles Kane, The Vaccines, Department S, Spector, Lisa Hannigan, Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status, Buzzcocks, Django Django, and more. As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

There's the usual markets, bars, and food outlets. Several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival, including a short film festival, a fashion weekend, art exhibition, and a festival of dance and choreography, with educational arts courses on top of all this provided by local university, Universidad Jaume I.

Taking minors

Minors under the age of 18 may enter FIB Heineken accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. In order for the Organisation to grant entrance to minors under the age of 18, a National ID Cards or passports of the minor and the accompanying adult must be presented, plus proof of legal guardianship issued in their countries of origin must be presented.

The parent or legal guardian of the minor will be required to sign a document assuming all responsibility, direct or indirect, for the entrance of the minor to FIB. In the event that a parent or legal guardian refuses to sign this document, the Organisation reserves the right to deny entry of the minor to the concert venue.

The failure of a parent or legal guardian to comply with the obligations relating to the responsible protection and custodianship of a minor will authorise the Organisation to expel said adult and the accompanying minor from the venue.
