Faringdon Arts Festival takes place at Market Place and various venues in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and happens over seven days from Thursday 1st until Sunday 11th July 2010 and offers something for all ages and tastes.

Any profit from events at Faringdon Corn Exchange will be donated to UNICEF Fund for Haiti).

The festival will offer various events including art, comedy, dance, exhibitions, face-painting, poetry, talks and workshops will take place at various venues around the town centre. These include a card making workshop, song writing workshop, drama workshop, sculpture workshop, flower arranging workshop, Paul Cornell introduces writers from the world of Sci- Fi comics books and tv, exhibition of samplers and patchwork lacemaking demonstration and workshop, Faringdon Art Society Workshop, and an Annual Exhibition open throughout the festival weekend.

Travel and accommodation

During the Festival weekend some roads will be closed. Car parks are located in Gloucester Street and Southampton Street. Buses from Swindon, Oxford and Wantage will stop within a short walk of the town centre. For more information see: http://faringdon.org/tttourism1.htm.
