A festival of reggae, soul, urban, jazz, funk, blues, hip hop, drum & bass, electronica and experimental music happening across the city of Exeter.
The Vibraphonic Festival takes place from Thursday 3rd until Wednesday 23rd March 2016. It is an annual occasion with events taking place across Exeter.
A wide variety of artists and DJs, plus there are also workshops, demonstrations, dance performances, films and graffiti art.
Jo Harman, Elf Kid, Chris Lorenzo, Natty, Exeter University Jazz & Soul Choir, Sky & Tubes, Martin Harley & Daniel Kimbro, David Rodigan, The Four Owls, Ginger Baker’s Jazz Confusion, Exeter College Music Academy Showcase, Babyhead & Cut Capers, Gotsome, The Green Man, The Three Degrees, Hannah Wants, JTC Easter Boat Party + After-Show, and Jack 2 Phono.
Ticket prices vary depending upon event and can be bought direct from host venues and from local outlets.
There's also a load of great workshops on offer each year.
The list of venues is Abode, The Angel, The Barnfield Theatre, The Bike Shed Theatre, The Bowling Green, Cavern Club, Exeter Phoenix, Globe Inn, Lemon Grove, The Monkey Suit, Move, The Old Firehouse, The Picturehouse, and Timepiece.
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
