The Folk Weekend, now in its 32nd year, is based on a single site which includes marquees, camping facilities, food stalls, trade stands, real-ale bar, real toilets, showers, children's entertainment plus Morris displays and pub sessions during the day in Ely City centre.

This is a small, friendly festival happening from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th July 2017 where artists play meet and greet 'unplugged' sessions, there is also a real ale bar, trade stalls, numerous concerts, dances, displays, sessions, ceilidhs and children's entertainment plus a programme of workshops.

Confirmed acts include Seth Lakeman, The Spooky Men's Chorale, Sam Kelly Trio, The Elephant Sessions, Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson, O'Hooley & Tidow, Reg Meuross, Topette!!, Jennifer Crook, Elvis Fontenot, TRADarrr, Brooks Williams, Flossie Malavialle, Hot Rock Pilgrims, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, Georgia Lewis Band, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, Bophouse Blue, Urban Folk Theory, Causeway Ceili Band and Hans Theessink and more.

For 2017 there are 23 morris teams from all round the country expected at the festival .

Headline ticket prices for the 2017 festival are:

Adult weekend ticket without camping – £72 (£82 from 1st June)
Concession weekend ticket without camping – £61 (£62 from 1st June)
Children aged 12-17 weekend ticket without camping – £24 (£28 from 1st June)
Children under 12 years – free
Tickets for individual days will also be available

Accommodation

There is ample space for tents and caravans on site, and free parking is provided close to the festival site. There are also plenty of alternative accommodation available in Ely. Ely city centre is easily accessible by the organised shuttle bus (or 20 minutes walk).
