The dates for 2022 are confirmed as from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th August for the family-friendly Wickham Festival which offers live music and entertainment for all ages with camping in a relaxed folk festival setting, and will be held in the Hampshire village of Wickham just east of Eastleigh and just north of Fareham.

Expect four music stages and other attractions including late-night comedy; the Bug Beats silent disco; the Digital Funfair; The Flying Buttresses; 'Fit-Up circus skills performances & workshops, The Magic Teapot venue, street theatre & storytelling; Rentadinosaur; children's entertainers and much more..

Line-up

This years acts include Levellers, The Waterboys, 10cc, Martha Wainwright, Rumer, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Los Pacaminos feat. Paul Young, The Dhol Foundation, The Undertones, Oysterband, Show of Hands, The Sharon Shannon Trio, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Skinny Lister, The Spooky Mens Chorale, Ferocious Dog, Steve Knightley, Grace Petrie, The Longest Johns, Chris Difford of 'Squeeze', Breabach, Blue Rose Code, Spiers & Boden, Admiral Fallow, Banter, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican, The Celtic Social Club, Slim Chance, Lil' Jimmy Reed, Yves Lambert Trio, The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, The Mary Wallopers, Will Varley, Johnny Kalsi, and many more.

After the music, at 11:30pm, there's late night comedy in the Quay West Wave Tent featuring Mike Cox, James Dowdeswell and Fiona Ridgewell on Thursday night, Tom Deacon, Matt Bragg, and Scott Bennett on Friday, and Tom Deacon, Eshaan Akbar, and Nathan Caton on Saturday.

There’s also late-night storytelling and other entertainment until the arena closes at 01.00.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £220 for adults (camping not included), £110 under-16s. Children under 10 years, free. 
Camping tickets are priced at £30 per tent or camper/ caravan (not per-person).

Friday - £60 / £30 (10-16 years/ carers)

Other attractions for festival goers include more street theatre; film screenings; a cabaret and circus skills stage, exotic foods fayre, real ale bars, and more.

Campsite open from noon until 9pm on the Wednesday and from 10am on the Thursday.
Festival arena open from 3pm on the Thursday and 8am other days.

Getting there

Wickham is easily reached by road, rail, coach, bus and air. If coming by road, Wickham is just two miles north of the M27 (junction 10) near Fareham and is less than 10 miles from both the M3 and A3. Alternatively, for a scenic route, take the A32 from Alton and head south through the beautiful Meon valley.
