City Showcase the London based music event, expands to four days to showcase emerging talent in gigs that are all FREE and not for profit. This year will see the event happen from Wednesday 4th until Sunday 8th May.

Each day there are gigs in stores and café in Carnaby Street and Regent Street. Evening gigs run in the Borderline, the Bowery, the Social, New Cross Inn, the Apple Store, the 100 Club and 229 including, for the third year running, City Showcase: Rocklands with SE London promoter The Artful Music Tourist Board curating with free or discounted entrance for wristband holders.

Line-up

Daytime gigs in Carnaby Street and Regent Street stores include Tibits, Ted Baker, National Geographic, Eastpak, TM Lewin, Timberland, WeSC, Fornarina, LK Bennett, Puma, Lee Jeans, 55DSL, Zebrano, Kirk Originals, Henri Lloyd, Vans, Sacred Café plus the Heddon Street Outdoor stage with artists to be announced.

Also confirmed Moon Visionaries, The Critical, Katalina Kicks, Tigers That Talked, Chloe Jones, Ivyrise, Thomas J Speight, The Eyes of a Traitor, Toodar, Jake Morley, The Kill Van Kulls, Warehouse Republic, Bonfire Nights, Anita Prime, Roxy's Wardrobe, Starlings, Horusset, FranKo, Redtrack and Low Level Flight.

Tickets

All-access wristbands are priced at £8 which gets access to all nine evening gigs, the daytime store gig programme in Regent Street, Heddon Street and Carnaby Street, the workshop programme and 20% off at participating retailers. Ethos

This event provides public exposure, advice and mentoring, plus contacts that aspiring talent needs, and culminates in a series of live events in venues in London's West End (giving musicians the opportunity to perform in West End stores and legendary venues such as the Borderline).

The event will also host a series of workshops and seminars bringing together aspiring talent along with the most influential figures in the music industry.

Open music policy

City Showcase covers all types of music from classical to pop, from rock to urban. And all types of performer's from bands to singer songwriters, from solo artists to DJ's.
