The family friendly Camp Bestival Dorset which offers a wealth of entertainment alongside the music, returns from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th July 2024 at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.
The festival has announced headline performance from PETE TONG IBIZA CLASSICS – Jules Buckley & The Essential Orchestra, pop Queen Paloma Faith and everyone's favourite McFly. James Arthur will appear as a Special Guest alongside Orbital, Scissor Sisters co-lead vocalist Jake Shears, legendary rock band The Darkness and reclaimed UK chart-topper Sophie Ellis-Bextor all descending onto the fields.
The lineup also includes a collection of DJs past and present including Camp Bestival’s favourite disc jockeys Gok
Wan, David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan, on top of the house legend Roger Sanchez. Craig Charles will also bring his Funk
and Soul House Party to Lulworth as well as Aroop Roy, Daisybelle & Carly Foxx and DJ Nose It. Hot off a UK
tour, Say She She will also land in Dorset to carry out their disco-delic duties as well as singer-songwriter Tom
Aspaul. Hak Baker is also set to appear and wow the crowds with his lyrical genius as well as indie kings The K’s.
Up and coming 16-year-old singer songwriter lowerovlove will also make an appearance on top of Dagny, Hip
Hop House Band, Coach Party, Che Mac, Mitch Santiago and Snayx.
Elsewhere on the lineup, families can expect The Amy Winehouse Band, House Gospel Choir, Katie Grace, The
Smyths, Old Time Sailors, The Magic Numbers, Dogshow, Ellie Sax, Tina Edwards, Fred Roberts, Ffion Rebecca
Back to One, Rascal Raves and Jemma Bolt, amongst so many other acts and talent who will soundtrack the
ultimate family festival holiday experience. It also wouldn’t be Camp Bestival without The Cuban Brothers, Big
Fish Little Fish, Goldierocks and all killer no filler Junior Jungle.

This festival is hugely suited to families, far more so than for those without kids. Camp Bestival is all about bringing back the British Holiday Camp... Bestival style! A place where Hi de Hi camping capers meet the spirit of early festivals and as well as entertainment, comedy, and literature.
There will be a full programme of music over multiple stages, plus other entertainment including comedy, arts & crafts, spoken word, dance, and more. There will also be a mix of theatre, shows, attractions, activities, poets, authors and talks for all the family.
Camp Bestival's organisers are committed to making the festival as accessible as possible and great efforts are being been made to achieve this. The Lulworth Castle Grounds are predominantly flat and are partially serviced by a network of paths. However, Camp Bestival is an outdoor event utilising fields and farm land that could pose problems, particularly in wet weather. With a little help here and there though it should definitely be manageable even in adverse weather. Carers can apply for a free carers ticket and a disabled pass. The Disabled Camping Area is positioned near to the main Lulworth Castle entrance and to the Main Stage. Vehicles with a blue badge (or similar) can park in the disabled camping area. Friends will have to park in the main car park, however. There are charging points for electric wheelchairs available upon request and disabled toilets onsite. Contact the organisers if you have further questions.
