The Bury St Edmunds Festival celebrates its 26th year from Thursday 20th to Sunday 29th May 2011 and has grown to become one of East Anglia's best-loved arts events with a varied mix of contemporary and classical music, outdoor concerts, jazz, dance, theatre, film, poetry, talks, walks, workshops, street theatre and much more.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2011. Tickets will go on general sale on Monday 28th February.

Ticket prices vary depending upon event, prices have not yet been confirmed and are not yet on sale.

There are also weekday lunchtime concerts, pre-event suppers, art exhibitions, a kite-flying festival, a continental market, video window displays and more.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
