Berwyn Festival 2009 plans to showcase the best in music, art and food from the Berwyn Region. The festival is being held in the village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, on the banks of the upper Ceiriog River, in the heart of the Berwyn foothills, just south of Wrexham in North Wales.

A musical line-up of acclaimed regional and international musicians headlines this two-day event, performing in concerts on Friday and Saturday evening. Artists confirmed so far include Gai Toms, Beck Sian, Mabon, and David Ruddle, with more to be announced.

Programme of events
Friday night:
Gai Toms, and Beck Sian.

Saturday daytime:
School performances, poetry by Les Barker, Welsh Folk Dancing Demonstration and Twmpath/Ceilidh for all the family,young and local band gig with The Roue, and Revurb.

Saturday night:
Mabon, with support David Ruddle.

Sunday daytime:
School performances, Welsh Folk Dancing Demonstration and workshop, Cor Meibion Dyffryn Ceiriog in the Chapel.

The regional cuisine Food Fair is running on Saturday, for adults the entry fee is £2 and is free to children under 16. Local farmers, manufacturers and restaurants will be represented, with many opportunities to taste and purchase the produce and products of the Berwyns.

There is also a village-wide Arts Fair with Berwyn artists and a Crafts Fair with craft-workers exhibiting at a number of local venues, plus a food fair.

The day time programme includes art exhibitions, a food and craft fair, a number of demonstrations, Welsh Folk Dancing demonstrations, and workshops will take place through out the village, performances by local schools, bands, choir and others.

Plus acts including Les Barker, The Roue, Revurb, and Cor Meibion Dyffryn, as well as performances by local schools, bands, choir, and others.
