The family orientated Backwell Festival, returns for a 8th year and will take place on Saturday 2nd July 2016 at Backwell Junior School, Bristol.

Line-up

Main Stage: The Carny Villains, The Soul Destroyers, Ezza, Harare, Brass Junkies, Baila La Cumbia, Bollywood Dance, Full Attack Band, The Ambling Band, Firewood Island, Yama Warashi, and Solid State Radio.

Second Stage: Festival Question Time, Bollywood Hip Hop Cinema, The Velvet Chestnuts, RSVP, Elles Bailey, Bellydancing Workshop, Amadou Diagne, and Bartoune.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £29.50 for adults, and £10 for camping. Tickets are £8 for children aged 4 to 14 years, and children aged under 4 years can attend for free, child camping is also free.

Backwell Festival is a family friendly, independent, intimate festival promoting music, food, art and creativity. Set in a amphitheatre, the ambience is relaxed with views across the Yeo Valley. The festival offers a mix of music, food and creativity. Its two stages deliver both world rhythms and national acts with a tradition of showcasing and supporting new talent; plus a Chefs Tent; Literature Tent, music, dance and circus workshops, and art sessions for the kids in tipis and yurts.

Doors open at 12.30pm Music til late.

Expect also plenty of classic festival entertainment for kids of all ages throughout the day.
