Apart from raising awareness and funds for the charity, the festival continues to support the local music scene from the grass roots level upwards. It is a policy of the festival to ensure at least 70% of the artist bookings are from Reading and the Berkshire area.

It will also continue to provide Reading students and the local community with valuable, hands on working experience in areas including music event/ project management, branding, marketing and photography. Over 50 volunteers helped Are You Listening Festival run so smoothly in it's first year, and the organisers would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved this year!

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

More information will be here when available.
