The Fans get a chance to prove themselves by curating and choosing their favourite performers to play on half the line-up in, "The Fans Strike Back". So who knows what acts will end up playing! Expect indie, rock, and alternative acts.

All Tomorrows Parties - The Fans Strike Back will be held from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th May 2009 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset. ATP is a sponsorship free festival where the organisers and artists stay in the same accommodation as the fans.

The event will see half of the festival line-up chosen by ATP and the other half voted for by everyone that buys a ticket. In at least the first round of voting, which has now opened, no bands can be picked that have ever played a UK ATP event before.

The confirmed bands chosen by ATP are: Devo, Spiritualised, Young marble Giants performing 'Colossal Youth', Anti-pop Consortium, Sleep ( performing 'Holy Mountain', selections from 'Dopesmoker', and more), Grizzly Bear, Edan (DJ), Grails, Qui, Liam Finn, This Will Destroy You, Hush Arbors, Grouper, Nico Muhly, and Sian Alice Group.

The acts chosen by the fans are: Killing Joke, Fuck Buttons, The Mae Shi, Harvey Milk, School of Seven Bells, Beirut, Electric Wizard, M83, Marnie Stern, and Future Of The Left, Errors, Parts & Labor, Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard, Jesu, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, Lords, !!!, and Andrew W.K. Special Solo Show.
