The Aldeburgh Festival of Music and the Arts is now in its 65th year. The event offers a mix of concerts, operas, masterclasses, films and open air performances at different venues in the Aldeburgh/Snape area in Suffolk. BBC Radio 3 are heavily involved as are Arts Council England. The festival runs from Friday 8th June to Sunday 24th June 2012. This year Pierre-Laurent Aimard is artistic director.
