The ninth Aberjazz - Pembrokeshire Jazz & Blues Festival is held in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire on the Bank Holiday Weekend from Thursday 23rd until Monday 27th August 2012.

The annual Aberjazz festival, which started as a jazz festival now incorporates blues and new music. The event takes place in pubs, clubs and other venues throughout Fishguard and the surrounding area.

Line-up

The festival features a mix of local and national musicians.

Thursday: The Tudor Kings of Rhythm, and Young Musicians Night.

Friday: Freewheelers, Aquarium, Sicknote Steve, Hummingbirds, The Jeremy Sassoon 11 Piece Band.

Saturday: African drumming workshop, Glowpeople + DJ Eugene, Ted Crook's Blues Highway, Dale Storr & Kim, Matt Chandler Group with Tony Kofi, Cuda, Karl Griffiths, Hangmen, Mark Pontin Group.

Sunday: Sax Workshop with Tony Kofi, Cottonmouth, Inspector Gadjo, Workshop - Quiver percussion, Lowri Evans, Quiver, The Sloop Inn, Porthgain, The Hideaway Trio, Dale Storr, Kel Elliot.

Monday: Zoe Gilby Trio, Steel Guitar Workshop with Eddie Martin, Harmonica Workshop with Eddie Martin, Babelfish Singing Workshop, Babelfish, and Finale Party with: Eddie Martin & Varsity Quartet.

Early bird stroller tickets are priced at £35, and tickets for individual events are priced from Free-£15. To buy tickets, click here.

There are many free events throughout the town over the weekend.

The festival will also offer workshops expect Drumming and Rhythm, Fun Vocal, Bongo, Music, and Instruments and some offer the chance to play your own instruments, or listen to others.
