Aberjazz - PembrokeshireJazz & Blues Festival is held in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire from Thursday 27th August until Monday 31st August.

Now in its sixth year, the annual Aberjazz festival, which started as a jazz festival now incorporates blues and new music. The event takes place in pubs, clubs and other venues throughout Fishguard and the surrounding area.

The festival features a mix of local and national musicians. This year the line-up includes The Michael Janisch Quintet, The Asaf Sirkis Trio, The Jay Tamkin Band, Gareth Pearson, Parry Ray, The Hummingbirds Blues Band, The Numbers Racket, Tipitina, Azaar Saffar, Phil King, Will Killeen, Daniel Curtis Trio, Tudor Rhythm Kings, The Freewheelers, Cottonmouth, Ted Crook's Blues Highway, Tyler Brown Blues Band, Hideaway Trio, The Hoochie Coochie Band, Last Chance Saloon, Renthouse Groove, and Claudia and the Jazzmasters.

Ticket prices are as follows:
There is a stroller ticket for the weekend available at £25 which excludes events held at Theatr Gwaun (saving of £5 over the weekend)

There are many free events throughout the town over the weekend including The Hoochie Coochie band at Fishguard Rugby Club, Last Chance Saloon at The Pendre, Fishguard (Friday night); Ted Crook's Blues Highway at The Royal Oak, The Tyler Brown Blues Band at The Royal Oak and Will Killeen in The Farmers Arms (venue may change) (Saturday); The Daniel Curtis Trio at The Glendower Hotel,Goodwick, Phil King at Bar 5, Fishguard, Call Me Albert at The Royal Oak, Fishguard and Cottonmouth at The Farmers in Mathry (Sunday); and The Freewheelers at The Pendre and The Funky Buddhas at the Pendre (Monday).

The festival will also offer workshops including Drumming and Rhythm, Fun Vocal, Bongo, Music, and Instruments and some offer the chance to play your own instruments, or listen to others.
