51st Festival returns to Copthall Playing Fields, London on Saturday 5th August 2023 from 11am - 10pm.

As one of the UK's most diverse and inclusive festivals, the event remains unmatched for threading nostalgic, iconic acts with the best in cutting-edge new music and plenty of good-time vibes. It truly celebrates house music across its many genres, exploring Soulful, Classic, Tech, Afro, Garage, Disco, Soul, RnB, Dancehall, Soca, Amapiano, Drum & Bass and more, showcasing the technicoloured heritage of dance.

As well as a heady roster of some of the best in UK and International music, 51st Festival boasts an atmosphere unmatched - an all-day party in the heart of London, with brand-new food vendors, and easily accessible by tube or car (Mill Hill East & Hendon Central on the Northern Line), train (Mill Hill Broadway, 17 minutes from King’s Cross St Pancras), bus (Copthall Sports Centre) plus plenty of on-site car park spaces.

Note: you must be 18+ to enter and have a valid, official ID to present at the entrance gate which is limited to a Passport, Driving Licence or Home-Office approved proof of age card. All bars on the grounds will operate under the Challenge 25 system where you will be asked for ID if the bar staff think you look young and spry.

Getting There

The festival would like to encourage all attendees to make use of public transport where possible.

Tube: The nearest tube station is Mill Hill East which is on the Northern Line and a 7-minute taxi journey to the Copthall Playing Fields*

Train: The nearest train station is Mill Hill Broadway which is on Thameslink and a 5-minute taxi journey from Copthall Playing Fields. Mill Hill Broadway is only 17 minutes from King’s Cross St Pancras or 20 minutes from Farringdon*

Bus: The 221 route runs from Edgware bus station to Turnpike Lane station. Alight at the Copthall Sports Centre for the Copthall Playing Fields, which is a 5-minute walk away. The 113 Bus route runs from Edgware Bus Station to Marble Arch. Alight at Five Ways Corner for Copthall Playing Fields, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Taxis & lifts: Please only use Power League on Pursley Way NW7 2BB as this is the dedicated PICKUP & DROP OFF location. There is also a bar for refreshments at Power League. Please be aware that there are strict road closures in operation in the surrounding areas which only allow access to local residents. Traffic enforcement will be in full operation on the day and cars will be fined and towed if you do not use the dedicated PICKUP & DROP OFF location.

Car: Copthall Playing Fields are just 400 metres from Junction 2 of the M1, 12 minutes inside the M25 and right next to the North Circular Road. There is car parking space for plenty of cars on a first come first serve basis. Car park tickets are only available in advance

Food & Drink

To reduce queuing times, the festival will ensure that 90% of the bars as contactless and chip and pin payments but there will be one cash bar in the general admission area. The food caterers and stalls will accept cash and card/contactless.

You cannot bring any of your own food or drink into the festival. There are fully licensed bars on-site and a selection of street food concessions catering to a variety of tastes.

Camping

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
