The 500 festival takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June at Bovey Tracey, in Devon. The festival is inspired by what people used to love about festivals, the ideals of creativity, freedom and most importantly creating a sense of community between festival goers. They also have a green conscience and run the entire festival from solar power.

Line-up

The line up for the bands includes The Quails, Willie And The Bandits, Scubaroots, George and the Islanders, The Wishbones, Rosie Erangey, Young Electrics, Coke Can Jack, Casitas, Morning Rush, and Gobi.

The artists and stalls on site include Amy McCarthy, Raj Patel & Justine Fitton-Patel, and Sarah Lucy Baker.

Tickets

A day ticket for Saturday is priced at £30, a weekend ticket with camping is priced at £35. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival, by design, smaller than the average. As the name suggests The 500 is a collective of 500 people that make up the festival community. However, unlike other festivals this community includes, staff, bands and artists and festival goers.

Camping

The camping site will open at 9am 4th of June. The arena will open at 11am. Music will run from approximately noon until midnight. The site will close at4pm on Sunday 5th June.

Getting there

There is a car park on site, but organisers encourage people to car share or travel by train and bus. The site is a 5 minute drive off the A38 (Drum Bridges exit).

Stagecoach 39 runs a regular bus service from Exeter bus station to Bovey Tracey town centre. From there it is a fifteen minute walk along level ground to the estate.

Bus service 39 also has an hourly service between Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey.

The festival will be running two buses to the site. A return bus ticket is available priced at £3. This includes the journey from Newton Abbot Train Station to the site (Sat) and return (Sun).
