The Grandfather of Ska and Rocksteady Prince Buster, who shaped the course of Jamaican music, died on Thursday at the age of 78. He last appeared at Glastonbury Festival in 2008 and created a legacy of British bands like Madness and the Specials. He created a series of records featuring his mythical character Judge Dread, a magistrate who was tough with sentencing rude boys.
