MAISIE PETERS ANNOUNCED AS JOINT SUNDAY HEADLINER WITH EASY LIFE

UK EUROVISION NUMBER 2 SAM RYDER SWEEPS IN WITH A SATURDAY MAIN STAGE SLOT

PLUS LOADS MORE…..

(& SHHH, SECRET THURSDAY HEADLINER).

MAISIE PETERS is set to play the Outdoor stage on Sunday at Gloucester’s Barn on the Farm this July. She will be joint headliner with EASY LIFE. Maisie is currently on tour opening for Ed Sheeran, including a number of shows at Wembley Stadium. Last year saw Maisie release her debut studio album, You Signed Up For This, after being signed to his Atlantic Records imprint, Gingerbread Man. The album was a massive success and was at one-point challenging Kanye West for Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, before actually debuting at Number 2.

Then comes Eurovision’s favourite Number 2, SAM RYDER, who will be playing on Saturday at Barn’s Main Stage as well as an intimate acoustic set on Thursday.

Joining everyone on Friday will be Barn favourite AMBER RUN who will headline the Outdoor Stage, with CONNIE CONSTANCE and COACH PARTY as new additions to the bill.

Thursday line-up also includes: SECRET HEADLINER???, AQUILO, RHYS LEWIS, GRETA ISAAC, VIOLET SKIES, AARON SMITH, CARTWRIGHT, NELL MESCAL, JACK KANE, ARTHUR HILL, EWAIN MAINWOOD, TOMMY LEFROY, CHARLOTTE CLARK, SHYFOOT, EMIE NATHAN, SOPHIA ALEXA, SOPHIE MAYN & VALENCIA GRACE!!

Organiser Josh Sanger says:

"2022 marks the start of the next phase for Barn on the Farm & we couldn’t be more stoked! We want to go even further towards deepening the connection between audience and artist. Barn is about way more than an artist performing on a stage; it’s about breaking down boundaries, creating a feeling of openness & freedom for everyone that attends and being bold with our decision making. For such a tiny festival we have continued to break the rules for what is possible and will continue to do that moving forwards.

This year we are focusing on a strong mix of new & upcoming talent, alongside those that have already firmly created a culture through their music. It’s with great excitement that we’re announcing our final wave of artists! In 2019 we had Maggie Rogers and Lewis Capaldi joint headline our Sunday evening with George Ezra performing in secret too. This year on our Sunday we have Easy Life and Maisie Peters joint headline, with Holly Humberstone AND a special guest appearance from The Vaccines. We couldn’t be more thrilled. We firmly believe in championing upcoming artists that are breaking the mould, alongside already huge headliners.

Be prepared for a lot of surprises this year; we are changing the Barn site massively. We've spent the past couple of years reflecting on our favourite moments of Barn so far and the spaces that they were in - one thing we all loved was the quirkiness of our old main stage in the tin barn. So, this year we are over the moon to say that we have found a way to adapt that model and create a new version of the Main Stage & arena!! Alongside this we are moving everything around to focus on the gorgeous landscape of the farm. Our Outdoor Stage is moving to a new field surrounded by trees and the campsite, on what was previously a runway. It will have the setting sun in the distance. Don’t worry we’re keeping our Wooden Barn Stage.

We will also have an incredible selection of food traders attending the festival to deliver mouth- watering options. So, get ready to sample some phenomenal produce. Don’t forget to visit Over Farm’s gorgeous farm shop too - their scotch eggs are to die for. See you there.”

Intimate Thursday tickets have sold out, leaving a limited number of both Behind Barn Doors Friday and General Weekend tickets left. Alongside these, Saturday and Sunday day tickets still available. Car Parking tickets need to bought this year. However, to encourage lift-sharing, we will return the price of ticket as a bar voucher if the car arrives with 4 or more people in!

Barn on the Farm is an independent down-to-earth gathering of like-minded music fans who congregate as one united community each year (bar covid years) on an actual working farm in Gloucester. It is the place to hook up with old friends, party with new ones and check out an impressive range of music. Ahead of the game when it comes to sourcing the best emerging talent it is renowned as the go-to festival for discovering the headliners of tomorrow. Ed Sheeran, Sam Fender, Hozier, George Ezra, James Bay, Ben Howard, Rag’n’Bone Man, Tom Grennan, Tom Misch have all passed through the barn gates before exploding internationally.

Small but perfectly formed, Barn on the Farm is spread over 3 stages (The Wooden Barn, Outside and Main), only a hop, skip and hoedown apart. It started 12 years ago with Josh, a barn, a couple of bands, a few pints, and very high expectations. 12 years on, Barn on the Farm is looking forward to brighter times ahead this summer and what better place to appreciate the joy that good music can bring us all.
