The second wave of acts have been announced for indoor one-day-er Are You Listening? Festival, which has been raising awareness and funds for Reading Mencap since launching in 2013 and takes place at various venues across Reading town centre on Saturday 27th April 2019

Leading the names are Gengahr, (pictured above from 2014), turntablist Krafty Kuts, the raucous Bad Sounds, and alternative folkie Willie J. Healey. There's also John Kennedy (Radio X) for the fifth consecutive year, BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart who curates Sub 89 with his SLACKER club night, the local Arborfield Military Wives Choir, Oxford jazz quartet Wandering Wires, indie popsters Honey Moon, post-punk from Death of a Maiden, as well as The Amazing Tiger Band, Borjad Luis, Catgod, Eat Daddy Eat, Kill Committee, Longdaylatenight, Peerless Pirates, Typical Hunks, and Zoofan.

Are you Listening? raises money for local Learning Disability charity Reading Mencap, and since starting out in 2013 has raised nearly £60,000 for the independently funded charity.
