Ramblin’ Man Fair returning for a 2nd year to Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July 2016 has announced Thin Lizzy will make a UK Exclusive performance on the 40th Anniversary of their seminal 'Jailbreak' album and 30 Years since the passing of Phil Lynott. This will be a one off UK date as part of a select USA and European run and the only chance to see Thin Lizzy in the UK.

In March 1976, Thin Lizzy released 'Jailbreak' featuring classic rock tracks 'The Boys Are Back In Town' and the title track, 'Jailbreak' and it become one of the most important albums of that era.  2016 also sees 30 years since lead singer Phil Lynott passed away (4th January 1986). In the summer of 2016 going into 2017, Thin Lizzy will stage a handful of special shows to commemorate these important milestones.

The Thin Lizzy line-up will be vocalist Ricky Warwick, guitarists Scott Gorham and Damon Johnson, and Darren Wharton on Keyboards. As special guest, drummer Mikkey Dee from Motörhead will join them.

Scott Gorham said, "With Black Star Riders taking some time off the road to work on their third album , I thought it would be really cool to do some Thin Lizzy shows as it’s an anniversary year, to have some fun and to re-live the good old days.  We will only do half a dozen or so dates to keep them special.  For personal reasons Brian Downey won’t be with us but we have the incredible Mikkey Dee on the drum stool, which we are all very excited about.  We will announce who is on bass shortly."

Mikkey Dee added, "It's an honour to be asked to play with Thin Lizzy on these dates, being a life long fan I am so happy and excited to playing with band on these shows. It’s going to be great!"

They will join the previous acts confirmed, who are Whitesnake, Europe, Ginger Wildheart, Black Stone Cherry, Airbourne, The Graveltones, Von Hertzen Brothers, Procol Harum, Hawkwind, Hayseed Dixie, Walter Trout, Uriah Heep, Blurred Vision, The Fierce & the Dead, Frost, IOEarth, The White Buffalo, King King, and Lifesigns.
