Blackbeard's Tea Party, The Hut People, Wild Geese, Talisk, skyhook, Rapsquillion, Rob Lear, and Skylark are the first acts announced for Fishguard Folk Festival.

The 17th annual celebration of folk music, song and dance takes place over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 27th to Monday 30th May 2016 in the historic seaport town of Fishguard in Pembrokeshire.

Most events are still free with concerts, dance displays, meet the artist events, busking, informal music and song sessions and a real ale bar. The prices for paid for concerts are priced up to a maximum outlay of around £35 per person.

Over the past 17 years the seaport town of Fishguard has been host to one of the UK's best small traditional music festivals. With concerts, dance displays, workshops, meet-the-artist events, busking, informal music and song sessions.
