A trio of UK festival exclusives of Midlake, John Cale, and Swans have been announced for the 11th The Green Man Festival with more acts also confirmed.

Also confirmed are Low, Lord Huron, Darkstar, Lau, Allah-Las, Sam Amidon, Mikal Cronin, Darren Hayman, Fernhill, Anna von Hausswolff, Gulp, Marika Hackman, Thought Forms, Grass House, Keston Cobblers Club, and Man's An Idiot who will all be visiting Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales over the weekend of Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th August.

Previously announced are Band of Horses, headline Saturday night (a UK festival exclusive), and Ben Howard is Sunday night headliner. Also confirmed The Horrors, Local Natives, Edwyn Collins, Roy Harper, Fuck Buttons, Villagers, Stornoway, Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, Erol Alkan & Daniel Avery, Veronica Falls, The Pastels, Archie Bronson Outfit, Woods, James Yorkston, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Andrew Weatherall, Jon Hopkins (live), Matt Berry, Moon Duo, Arbouretum, This is the Kit, Ellen & The Escapades, Buke & Gase, Bear's Den, Fossil Collective, Rozi Plain, Rachel Zeffira, Half Moon Run, Sweet Baboo, Jacco Gardner, Teleman, Annie Dressner, Blaenavon, Zervas & Pepper, Trwbador, Wild Smiles, Fist of the First Man, DJ Fitz, Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog, Huw M, and Annie Eve. The Green Man Festival is a four day event with three days of music and more than 100 acts playing indie, psychedelia, Americana, and folk across 5 stages, while DJs playing everything from psychedlia, dub-reggae, modern electro and stoner rock right through the night.

Literature, film, theatre, ceilidhs, all-night bonfires, comedy and secret gigs are part of the festival's identity. The festival has carved a niche as a non-corporate and ethically-minded festival.

An adult weekend ticket is on sale priced at £145 for adults, £125 for students, £75 for teenagers (aged 13 to 17 years), and £5 for children aged 5 to 12 years, infants and 4 and under can attend free, but need a ticket. A live-in vehicle ticket is priced at £60, and holiday tickets (bought in addition to a weekend ticket, allowing camping at Glanusk Park from Monday 12th August for 3 days before the festival opens) are priced at £40.
