Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra leads the first acts announced for the new Love Supreme Jazz Festival a three day green-field Jazz Festival with camping for 15,000, that takes place at Glynde Place, East Sussex, from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July 2013.

The first acts confirmed joining Jools and his band are Marcus Miller, Branford Marsalis, Neil Cowley Trio, Soweto Kinch, Phantom Limb, and Zara McFarlane.

The line-up of over 40 acts will feature a classic and contemporary bill programmed in association with international live music producers, the first acts will be announced before the end of the year, and will feature a blend core and cutting edge jazz artists, crossover jazz musicians and also feature acts from the worlds of soul, blues and funk.

The Love Supreme Jazz Festival will offer four stages (main stage, a unique green-field festival indoor floored and seated Jazz stage, a 'Discovery' stage and a dance stage).

The Love Supreme Jazz Festival revives a tradition of open-air jazz festivals that stretches back to 1956, when the Beaulieu Festival was launched at Lord Montague's country house in Hampshire. Others followed, including the National Jazz and Blues Festival, which started during the 1960s, changed its musical style and evolved into today's Reading and Leeds Festival.

The first of its kind with camping for more than 20 years, the Love Supreme Jazz Festival will provide food from around the world, luxury and standard camping, chill out and relaxation zones, and family friendly activities.

Ciro Romano, Festival Director and managing director of Neapolitan Music, said, "We are thrilled that the passionate combination of Jazz FM, Ingenious, Serious and ourselves will bring back the green-field Jazz festival after such a long break. We wanted to be able to provide a quality experience where at one cost there would be a massive variety of Jazz music on offer and the festival at Glynde Place will allow us to do this."

Tickets are priced at £110 for the weekend with camping, or £100 no camping. A junior aged (age 6-17 years) ticket with camping is priced at £60 or £50 without camping, and a child (age 0-5 years) is free. A campervan pass is £50, and a car park pass is £10.
