Coroner is the latest addition to the line-up for next year's Bloodstock.

Bloodstock confirms its eighth exclusive appearance for next year's festival will be Swiss tech-metallers Coroner who will make their first UK festival appearance at Bloodstock next summer.

With five albums in the late 80s/early 90s, Coroner have earned themselves a cult following across the globe with their highly technical, prog-and-jazz-infused industrialised thrash, earning them accolades such as 'the Rush of Thrash Metal'. Famed for their trademark odd time signatures and fretboard wizardry, the musos in the crowd will be impressed with their musicianship, while the headbangers will find suitable satisfaction with the sheer force and heaviness of the band. Add to that the possibility of a guest appearance from Swiss metalhead and former collaborator Tom Warrior, who appears with Triptykon, Coroner's only UK show of 2011 at Bloodstock could be an extra special treat.

They join a line-up of exclusives that includes Angelwitch, Lawnmower Deth, Therion, Mortal Angel, Immortal, Rhapsody Of Fire and Triptykon who are all playing over the weekend of Friday 12th until Sunday 14th August 2011 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire.

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Early bird tickets are on sale priced at £95 for adults, and £10 for a car parking pass. As of 15th December 2010 All Bloodstock festival tickets will increase in Price. Day tickets, and child tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date.
