Blissfields, the family friendly small festival held in Hampshire, will be moving site as of the 2011 July event. It will be moving from Bradley Farm, to a nearby 2,200 capacity estate, owned by friends of the promoters Paul and Mel Bliss.

The event promises to keep the Blissfields ethos and remain small and intimate. This decision has not been made lightly but promoters have stated they are considering their year-round relationship with the events' neighbours in the village, and by staying in its current location Blissfields would not be able to develop some of the great ideas they have for 2011.

2011 will still retain the Blissfields ethos and with its biggest year planned at their new home in Woodmancott, in Hampshire. The festival will take place on the same weekend, Thursday 30th June to Sunday 3rd July, but with entertainment starting earlier on the Friday, while those camping on the Thursday can now expect live music that night.

Paul and Mel Bliss have said, "We have listened to the comments and feedback from you all this year and feel that the most exciting future for the festival can be best achieved on this new site that is very local to us and is a truly beautiful new home for Blissfields."

"The last two years have undoubtedly been great weekends for us all and this move has little to do with getting bigger, although there will be more tickets on sale to you and your friends and we will always strive to put on the best show possible show giving you great value for the money."

"It will be very easy and quick to get around the site and you'll still be able to see your tent and your car from the main stage! However there will be new exciting things to do and we're already talking to some great artists to perform next year. What we want to do is be able to go on a little later, and give more space to those camping with an obvious quiet area well away from the later night music, and this we can do at the new site. There will still be our main open-air stage, a second covered stage, The Bubblebus and the Hidden Hedge. A crucial element of the move was do the same things that we love at Bradley so we not have chosen a site unless we'd been able to build the much loved "Hedge", and we’ll still have tractor rides too!."

"Ultimately, wherever the festival is, you are the people that make Blissfields what it is so we hope you'll come with us to our new home where we can enjoy ourselves together as the Blissfields community. Of course, we'll be working ourselves into the ground making sure Blissfields 2011 is the best one yet."
