Martha Tilston heads up a raft of new additions of music, authors, films, and comedy announced for Wychwood Festival which is just three weeks away.

The beautiful voiced singer-songwriter Martha Tilston has been confirmed to appear on the main stage on Sunday. Welsh outfit Rusty Shackle will be opening up the Big Top on Friday with their rustic old time sound.

This year Wychwwod will have even more bands with The University of Gloucester hosting evening sessions each evening on The Pomme Stage in the Hawthorn venue Up on the Green. Friday's line-up will be La Heroine, Tom Hollister Trio, Ryan Martin & The North Ship, and Coxon's Riot. Saturday will showcase Joe Summers, Men Daimler, Alexander John, Gareth Candidate, and Amy Spencer. Sunday it will be the turn of Thrill Collins, Macaroni Wood, Not In My Nature, and Hats Off To The Big Man.

A new addition for the comedy line-up has been announced with Silky confirmed for the Saturday night.

Festival organiser have also announced their partnership with the Cheltenham Film Festival and UK Film Council to bring a full weekend worth of classic movies, new break through movie shorts and horror from the last 65 years of celluloid to keep you entertained into the small hours, films include: 'The Life Aquatic', 'The House on Haunted Hill', 'Finding Neverland', 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' and more.

The ranks of Authors at Wychwood have also been swelled with the additions of 'Angelina Ballerina' creator Katharine Hollabird, The Invisible Detective' novelist Justin Richards, and Alexander Gordon Smith writer of the 'The Furnace' series and co-writer of 'The Inventors'. All of which appear at the Kids Literature Festival on Sunday. Saturday it will be the turn of Guy Bass author of the 'Dinkin Dings' and 'Gormy Ruckles' series make an appearance.

Next week the entire line up for the BBC Introducing Stage will be revealed now that Tom Robinson and the judges have made their final selections.

Wychwood Festival takes place three weeks from today from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June 2010 at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Wychwood Festival is a very family-friendly, intimate and inclusive for audience and musician alike, blending world, roots and contemporary music, and encouraging new collaborations. There's also comedy, workshops, and more.

Levellers will headline on Friday, Happy Mondays on Saturday, with Seth Lakeman taking the headline spot on Sunday evening. Joining them are Lightning Seeds, Dreadzone, The South, Kila, Goldheart Assembly, 6 Day Riot, Beth Jeans Houghton, Toumani Diabate, King Creosote, 12 Stone Toddler, One String Loose, Pauline Black, The Travelling Band, The Leisure Society, John Smith, and Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds, and more. Day tickets are now on sale: Adult tickets are priced at £35 (Friday), £50 (Saturday) and £40 (Sunday). There are also Youth concessions (16 - 18 years) available at £22 (Friday) £37 (Saturday) and £27 (Sunday) and 10 – 15 year olds tickets are priced at £20 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Under 10's go for free with each adult ticket allowing two free under 10's. Adult weekend tickets are priced at £110.

This year Wychwood will be introducing a small charge for camping for the concession and adult tickets. A weekend camping pass is priced at £20, a concession/youth weekend camping pass is available at a price of £10. Children under 15 can camp for free, live in vehicle/campervan passes are priced at £40 (in addition to a camping pass for each person).
