The festival, which takes place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July 2010, is held in the grounds of Butterley Station, a picturesque 1950s steam railway in Derbyshire, will also play host to Paisley & Charlie, Pale Sunday, Sarandon, Secret Shine, Shrag, Springfactory, Standard Fare, Stars In Coma, Stars of Aviation, The Blanche Hudson Weekend, The Callas, The Cannanes, The Felt Tips, The Give It Ups, The Hillfields, The Just Joans, The Loves, The Middle Ones, The Millipedes, The Smittens, The Specific Heats, The Sunny Street, This Many Boyfriends, Urbantramper, White Town, Winston Echo, and Yokoko.

Weekend tickets are now available at an early bird discount price of £55, and day tickets are available for £30. This price is available until Friday 7th May. After this date, weekend tickets will be £60 and day tickets £32.50. To buy tickets, click here.

Over 50 indiepop bands from across the globe will be playing across four stages: the outdoor stage; the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves. The festival will also host a range of craft workshops and a selection of discos after the bands finish.

The bands will play until 10pm, and will then be followed by an indiepop disco. Included in the ticket price is unlimited train rides during the weekend, and full access to the normal Midland Railway Butterley attractions including a farm and museum.

Camping is available at Golden Valley Caravan Park, which is a ten minute walk from the Swanwick festival site. Price per night, per tent for two people sharing is £25. Cars will not be parked on the campsite but will be parked at the festival site once belongings have been unloaded. There will be a free music tent on site after the close of the festival at the railway. There is a bar and cafe on site, with a set menu available. Toilets and showers are available-cost included.
