Liverpool Sound City is offering new bands the chance to be centre stage and to play alongside some of the festivals top bands, and in front of top industry insiders from the UK, Europe and North America.

Dave Pichilingi the Festival Director explains, "Liverpool Sound City is about offering Liverpool bands the chance to show what they do best in front of over 30,000 people we welcome into the city every May. It is our aim to build upon the legacy of Liverpool as the music capital of the world and to create jobs, money and opportunities for our new talent of the future."

All bands who apply will be listened to by the festivals A&R team and the lucky few shortlisted to play the metropolitan festival.

Bands who are interested in applying can apply at www.soncibids.com/a>, application closes on Monday 15th March. Bands will be shortlisted by head honchos at Liverpool Sound City and contacted if successful .
