Audio Bullys to headline Dance Island

plus Freemassons and Stanton Warriors for East Anglia

It has been announced that Audio Bullys are to headline this summer's new dance festival Dance Island 2008 held on Saturday 5th July just outside of Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Joining them on the outdoor stage bill are Freemassons, and Stanton Warriors, and John O'Callaghan has been added to the Trance Arena. Slinky's Hard Dance Arena will see the Organ Donors Vs Vinylgroover performing their live 'Audio Surgery' and they will be joined by dance legends BK and Andy Farley. The Raindance Hardcore Arena has added Ellis Dee, Kenny Ken, and Nicky Blackmarket to the dance flavoured line-up.

Much loved house music brand, Koolwaters, has been brought in to host the festivals Dance Arena, and will be bringing Stonebridge, Marc Vedo, and Kate Lawler with the arena's headline act to be announced shortly. The event, which will be set in 120 acres of private land is being billed as East Anglia's biggest electronic music event of the year.

Alastair Morbey from event organisers, Tiger Promotions, comments, "We're absolutely thrilled with the acts that are performing at Dance Island 2008. We've managed to get some of the biggest names in the industry covering all genres of dance music, so everyone’s tastes should be catered for. It's only the first year for Dance Island yet the buzz that it's generated is fantastic. With the headline performers on the outdoor stage, the huge line-up of DJ's in the five arenas, the site's capacity, facilities and attractions, the event has all of the makings of a great festival."

They join the previously confirmed Mauro Picotto, Agnelli & Nelson, Dave Pearce, Kutski, Andy Farley, K90, The Ratpack, Slipmatt, Tidy Boys, Darren Styles, SY, Hixxy Storm, Whizzkid, Unity, DJ-X, Lab4, Big Ben, Mark Sherry, Mark Doyle, Matt Collins, BeatThiefs, Lee Haslam, JB Project, Dan Stone, Paul Wilkerson, and Mark Hughes are the first names confirmed. The festival features five huge arenas, a massive outdoor stage, hosting both DJs and live dance acts who will be covering House, Hard Dance, Trance, Hardcore and Old Skool, as well as a fun-fair, a food village, a chill-out area and trade stalls.
