This year the Endorse-It In-Dorset Festival is providing a brand new experience for festival goers - The Axe Factor. Two years in conception, 'The Axe Factor' overhauls all those old style open sessions in folk tents and offers you the chance to jam with on stage.

Have you ever taken an instrument along to a festival, hoping to join in with the music sessions, only to realize that the bearded ones are playing tunes that you've never heard of? Then to make matters worse they won't even tell you what key it's in, passing you off with, "If you'm don't know by now boy, there b'aint no hope, in'im." Well, Endorse-It In-Dorset has solved the problems for you and is giving you the chance to be a guitar hero.

Forget X-Factor, this is Axe Factor! Combining the internet and the raw talent of punk band Fat, Drunk and Stupid, Axe Factor will provide a stage, band, guitars and all the songs up front for you to learn on the web from Thursday 1st May 2008.

At Endorse-It In-Dorset over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August you will be ready, you can pick your song beforehand, learn the lead breaks and cues and then when you're there you can join in on stage.

There will be a panel of judges including: Simon Growell, Sharon Frogspawn and Louis Grolsch who will give you constructive feedback and even sympathy, should the need arise.

For those who don't play guitar, but want a chance to get on stage, back by popular demand is the Endorse-It Punk Karaoke. No practice is needed, you just bring your voice and Dutch courage.

Endorse-It In-Dorset takes place near the village of Sixpenny Handley in the green open setting of Cranborne Chase, Dorset. The festival is a safe, family friendly old school type of festival, with a reputation for quality entertainment at an affordable price.
