Wychwood Festival, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 1st until Sunday 3th June 2007, has announced more acts - including the Saturday headliner - to the line-up of world music blended with dance, folk and indie.

Newly confirmed for the Friday (which will be headlined by the previously announced Levellers) is Adjagas, and Etran Finatawa. Adjagas, from Lapland, have been described as sounding like "Sigur Ros reared on alt-Americana" by Time Out. Etran Finatawa are BBC Radio 3 World Music Award nominees who fuse the ruch culture of the Tuareg and Wodaabe peoples. They join other acts Robyn Hitchcock & the Venus 3, and Rory McCloud.

New for the Saturday are headliner Fun Lovin' Criminals, and 3 Daft Monkeys. Other bands playing the Saturday include Tobias Froberg, Anoushkar Shankar, Go Lem System, and Martha Tilston.

Alongside Eliza Carthy who's expected to be doing another 'special collaboration' on the Sunday (more news on this soon), also added to Sunday are youngsters Kitty Daisy & Lewis, ska from Magic Skool Bus, and highly rated dance-dubsters Subgiant to a line-up that already included Balkan Beat Box, Shooglenifty, Zion Train, Ba Cissoko, and Country Joe McDonald.

Over the next few weeks a number of other acts large and small are to be announced, including acts programmed by BBC Asian Networks who'll be taking over The Big Top Stage for the Saturday.

Wychwood will also feature cabaret, comedy and a solar-powered cinema alongside over a hundred different workshops for all ages ranging from African drumming to life coaching, yoga to breakdancing, Mask Making to songwriting create an all round family experience.

Tickets are now on sale, costing £95 for an adult weekend ticket or £75 for a youth (12-18)/concession weekend ticket, and day tickets priced at £28 (£20 youth/conc) for the Friday, £48 (£35 youth/conc) for the Saturday, and £38 (£25 youth/conc) for the Sunday. Under-12s are free. To buy tickets click here.

Unlike just about every other festival, cars are allowed on the campsite for people to unload, then they must drive off to the car park.
