Guillemots

All right I didn’t see much of this lot, having on three occasions already this year written them off after a dire performance. So it was with some surprise that I arrived halfway through their set to find them really on form.

By the end of it lead singer Fyfe Dangerfield is beating a dustbin lid and the crowd are a mass of noise! Clearly they were superb on the day, for those that heard them, as they get huge applause come the end. I’m amazed! It seems they aren’t always as dire as previous outings and perhaps having played festivals all summer they finally can match the energy of their records.
