Offering fun for all types, and ages the Village Pump Folk Festival is held beneath the Westbury White Horse and will celebrate the best in Folk, Roots and Acoustic music, taking place from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd July 2012, at the White Horse Country Park, in Wiltshire.

Oysterband, Show of Hands, Seth Lakeman, Ben Waters, Karine Polwart, Cara Dillon, 3 Daft Monkeys, Gigspanner, Fay Hield and the Hurricane Party, Reg Meuross, Allan Yn Y Fan, Allan Taylor, Michael Chapman, Jenna Witts, Keith Christmas, O'Hooley and Tidow, The Merv Grist Players, Spill The Whiskey, The Haiku, Killing No Murder, and more. Tickets

The early bird ticket offer has ended. The full price tickets are now priced at £110. Tickets for 11-17 years olds are half price. To buy tickets, click here.

Entertainment

Expect children's entertainment, comedy, workshops, beer, trade stalls selling food, and informal sessions.

There will be two main stages. The first of these is a large marquee hosting established folk acts, and the second is within the country club itself and stages ceilidhs, alongside up and coming acts, as well as established acts who suit a more intimate atmosphere. As well as the two main stages there are also a number of smaller sessions and family oriented tents, as well as bars and trade stalls.

Camping

Camping will be on a large, flat camping field which will allow festival goers on site from Thursday 19th July. The campsite will be a short walk from the main arena, but if you would prefer not to walk, there will be a shuttle bus running every day.

Parking

The parking is near the campsite.

Trowbridge connection

The new event is organised by the Trowbridge Village Pump Folk Club which in no way represent the company who ran the long running Trowbridge Village Pump Festival which was cancelled in 2011, however several of the people putting on the new festival had been involved with the old festival for years (including founder members John Alderslade and Pat Drinkwater).
