The Perthshire Amber Festival runs from Friday 24th October until Sunday 2nd November in various venues around Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The event was created, managed by and stars Dougie MacLean and his family, and brings together many musicians and entertainers from different parts of the world who have been involved with Dougie MacLean over the years.

It also provides an opportunity for him to perform little heard songs, as well as well known favourites! From the first festival in 2005 Dougie has delivered, (as far as earthly possible!) his promise of 'no song being repeated'.

This year's line-up includes Solas (USA/IRL), Benny Gallagher, Deaf Shepherd, David Francey with Craig Werth (CANADA), Sheena Wellington, Eliza Lynn (USA), Sarah McQuaid (IRL), The Sorren MacLean Band, Gina MacLeod & Alan Jordan, Don Nicholson, and more. As well as Dougie MacLean in a variety of different performances including solo, with his band and trio, with strings, doing Burns and once again The Search.

Tickets are priced as follows: 5 concerts £85, 4 concerts £70, 3 concerts £54, or individual concerts £20. Many of the concerts have now sold out, to buy tickets where available, click here.

The festival is held in a range of distinctive venues including Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Blair Castle, Dunkeld Cathedral, The Crannog, Castle Menzies, and The Baronial Hall.

This is a non-camping indoor event, there are a range of places to stay, or eat in Perthshire.
