The Perthshire Amber Festival runs from Friday 30th October until Sunday 8th November in various venues around Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The event was created, managed by and stars Dougie MacLean and his family, and brings together many musicians and entertainers from different parts of the world who have been involved with Dougie MacLean over the years.

It also provides an opportunity for him to perform little heard songs, as well as well known favourites! From the first festival in 2005 Dougie has delivered, (as far as earthly possible!) his promise of 'no song being repeated'.

This year's line-up is includes The Dougie MacLean Band, Eddi Reader, Beoga, Malinky, Heidi Talbot, Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson, Eliza Lynn, Michael McGoldrick Trio, Gina MacLeod & Alan Jordan, and The Sorren MacLean Band. With Special Guest Appearances From Frances Black, Julia Fowlis, The MacDonald Bros, Jon Vezner, Calaisa, Frieda Morrison, and Sunas.

Friday 30th Oct - Opening Concert: Dougie MacLean + Eddie Reader
Saturday 31st Oct - The Sorren MacLean Band + The Dougie MacLean Trio + Beoga
Sunday 1st Nov - Gina MacLeod & Alan Jordan + Malinky + The Dougie MacLean Band
Friday 6th Nov - Eliza Lynn + The Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson Trio + Dougie MacLean - "Indigenous"- The Album in Concert
Saturday 7th Nov - Dougie MacLean with Friends.
Sunday 8th Nov the finale 'Caledonia Concert' Dougie MacLean together with guest musicians from five countries around the globe at Perth Concert Hall.

Festival theatre tickets are priced as follows: 5 concerts £85, 4 concerts £70, 3 concerts £54, or individual concerts £20. Other concert tickets are priced at £20 with discounts for some purchased in advance. Workshop and lecture ticket prices are around £5 depending on the event. The festival is held in a range of distinctive venues including Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Blair Castle, Dunkeld Cathedral, The Crannog, Castle Menzies, and The Baronial Hall.

This is a non-camping indoor event, there are a range of places to stay, or eat in Perthshire.
