The 12th North Devon Festival is expected to run from 27th May until 26th June 2010, and features over 200 events in 80 towns and villages throughout the region.

Line-up

The line-up includes Paul Merton, Shappi Khorsandi, Rick Wakeman, Chris Packham, Jacqui Dankworth, Brian Blessed, Alan Bennett's 'The History Boys', and The Movie Bus a unique 1967 mobile cinema.

Other events

Small venues in Barnstaple play host to drama, dance, comedy and more from theatre companies from as far as Greece at the North Devon Fringe Theatre Festival Friday 28th May Friday 11th June.

There's also various heritage events, poetry and theatre and more. North Devon Festival is a celebration of the rich cultural life of the area with dance, fairs, art, lifestyle, sport, theatre, comedy, and nature events happening throughout the area over the month of June.
