Homelands is set to rawk the world of dance music, as the summer’s first big festival.

At Matterley Bowl, near Winchester in Hampshire, We Love... Homelands touches down again on the May Bank Holiday weekend, with its unique flavour of the evolving world of beats.

Top Tips
COME EARLY: all acts play in the Live Arena before it closes down at 11:30pm. The good news with this is that it allows a higher volume in the DJ arenas through the night.
STAY LATE: there was a time when they’d have to force clubbers out of the door at 6am, but nowadays, club crowds start thinning out nearer and nearer to midnight. Those of you with the stamina for enjoyment right until the last moment needn’t worry about the atmosphere thinning with the crowd. As the morning approaches some arenas will close down - ensuring there’s still a great vibe in crowded tents.

Live...
The Live Arena has a huge festival favourite: Faithless. Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and their full live band transform their machined recordings into true live classics. Before that, are you ready to rawk? Guitars – LOUD guitars - and blistering songs, The Music will keep your feet moving, guaranteed.
Loose Cannons

There’s also Lamb, Scissor Sisters, and Dilated Peoples, Loose Cannons – these guys are ready to go off (even if they do have a professed liking for Glen Maderos!?!), Stateless, and Freestylers. And around the DJ arenas, there’s also live music from Rui Da Silva, Dizzee Rascal, Ty, London Elektricity, and Killa Kela.

Did someone mention DJs?
Tony Blackburn it ain’t. The very best DJs spread around 5 arenas, the Strongbow Room, and the Radio 1 Outdoor Stage (so you can dance in the sunshine). The techno tent has gone (tho We Love’s Darren Hughes says it’ll be back next year), but new is an urban flavour in Arena 4. Check out the full line-ups here - and see what you'd be mad to miss!

We Love ... Homelands is expected to be sold out before the day this year. Don’t miss out – buy NOW.

For 2004, James Zabeila plays the final set in Arena 1, as the local Superstar DJ aims to send you home with a smile to match his seemingly ever-present (and natural, apparently) Cheshire grin.
