Held near Winchester, Hampshire, normally on the Saturday of the end of May Bank Holiday weekend (normally - it was different in 2002 because of the jubilee, and is thought to be different for 2006), it's a large dance festival licensed for about 35,000 people, with around 6 major big-tops with big name DJs and live acts playing just about every genre of dance.

In the last few years it has tried to be a little more diverse with the line-ups (such as having Pulp in 2001, and The Music for 2004) to try to broaden its appeal beyond the dance addicts.

2006 is thought to have Homelands on a different date than the May Bank Holiday, but it's still thought to be going ahead. We'll have the details when available.

Please see the event links to the right for specific events.
