The family orientated Backwell Festival, returns for a seventh year and will take place on Saturday 11th July 2015 at Backwell Junior School, Bristol.

Line-up

Main Stage: Huey Morgan (DJ Set), Sheelanagig, Luke Friend, Mike Dignam, Rosie Southern, Dizraeli and Bellatrix, Conjunto Gringo, Hélélé, Troy Ellis, Backwell Belles, The Paper Moon Band, The Schmoozenbergs, The Oscillators, Nina Sundstrom, Martin Hughes-Games, Presence Theatre, and Jenny Lacey.

Second Stage: Rosie Southern, Backwell Belles, The Schmoozenbergs, and Nina Sundstrom.

Tickets are priced at £17.50 for adults, £10 for children aged 14 to 17 years, £6 for under 14s, and children aged under 4 years can attend for free.

Backwell Festival is a family friendly, independent, intimate festival promoting music, food, art and creativity. Set in a amphitheatre, the ambience is relaxed with views across the Yeo Valley. The festival offers a mix of music, food and creativity. Its two stages deliver both world rhythms and national acts with a tradition of showcasing and supporting new talent; plus a Chefs Tent; Literature Tent, music, dance and circus workshops, and art sessions for the kids in tipis and yurts.

Chefs Tent will host Michelin starred Chefs Martin Blunos and Josh Eggleton 2ho will give demos during the afternoon - although the demos are free booking via the website is essential as this is really popular.

Literature Tent: Springwatch presenter Martin Hughes Games talks about his new book, A Wild Life - again hugely popular, again this is free but you will need to book your seat online in advance.

Dance Workshop - this year it's Bollywood with Grace Willow.

Expect also plenty of classic festival entertainment for kids of all ages throughout the day plus Invisible Circus, The Rock Project, art and drama workshops, a pre-school creche who also run a supervised film as the sun goes down leaving parents hands free to dance!

Refreshments include Beer Tent, Pimms Pergola, Champagne bar, Kids Kaff, Fair Trade Cafe, Hog Roast, BBQ and Indian Kitchen and more.
