The family orientated Backwell Festival, returns after a break in 2017 for a 9th year and will take place from Friday 6th until Sunday 8th July 2018 at Backwell Junior School, Bristol.

The new friday night will have theatre and music at the Tent Stage from 7.30pm. Details to follow.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £35 for the weekend for adults, £20 for concessions, £18 for under 18s, and £12 for under 15s. Under 3s can attend free.

Camping is an extra £10 for adults, and is free for children but requires a ticket.

Backwell Festival is a family friendly, independent, intimate festival promoting music, food, art and creativity. Set in a amphitheatre, the ambience is relaxed with views across the Yeo Valley. The festival offers a mix of music, food and creativity. Its two stages deliver both world rhythms and national acts with a tradition of showcasing and supporting new talent; plus a Chefs Tent; Literature Tent, music, dance and circus workshops, and art sessions for the kids in tipis and yurts.

Doors open at 12.30pm Music til late.

Expect also plenty of classic festival entertainment for kids of all ages throughout the day.
