Mystery Jets, Milltown Brothers, The Steve Norman Band, and The Rainband are the latest additions to the line-up for Summer Days happening at Clitheroe Castle in Lancashire which takes place on Wednesday 6th, Friday 8th, and Saturday 9th July 2016.

Joining the bill on Saturday night are Mystery Jets, Milltown Brothers, and The Rainband. Joining Simply Red on Wednesday is Steve Norman of Spandau Ballet and his band.

Simply Red headline Wednesday, and Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra on Friday, Echo and the Bunnymen will headline Saturday. Supporting Simply Red will be Peter Hook and the Light, The Christians, Gabrielle, and Andrew Roachford, plus more. Jools is supported by Caro Emerald, Tom Robinson, Hugh Cornwell, Mike Peters, Shed Seven, The Farm, Space, and The Neville Staple Band. Joining the Saturday line-up are Everything Everything, Circa Waves, Lightning Seeds, and John Power.

Steve, who is also musical curator of the festival, explained the make-up of his band, saying, "I've put together a real dream team of some of the best artists and session musicians in the business that I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with including Toby Chapman who has worked with everyone from Tom Jones to Kylie to Rod Stewart on keyboards, James Stevenson on guitar who was in The Cult, Chelsea and Generation X, Steve 'Smiley' Barnard from The Alarm and Robbie Williams on drums, Chris Constantinou who worked with Adam Ant and Sabrina Winters from Stereoblonde on backing vocals.

"We're going to do a really upbeat and varied set of stuff from a few Spandau songs to some of the anthems that inspired me growing up."

The festival will have two live stages featuring more than 30 artists, a locally sourced gourmet food village and a dedicated real ale area.

Tickets are priced at £59.50 for a day ticket.

In addition to the Summer Days Festival, The Grand in Clitheroe will be hosting a fringe festival featuring three nights of live music, comedy and entertainment at the renowned venue.
