Bestival reveals Invaders of the Future stage line-up

Stars of the future have been unveiled for the Invaders of the Future stage at the future themed Bestival held at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight, returns this year from Thursday 8th until Sunday 11th September 2016.

The line-up includes Fatherson, Subgiant, The Wytches, The Sherlocks, Pretty Vicious, and Haelos, plus All This Noise, Asylums, Black Honey, Born InA Barn, Clean Cut Kid, Coco, Creeper, Danny L Harle, Eska, Fickle Friends, The Greasy Slicks, Hinds, The Japanese House, JP Cooper, K.Flay, L.A. Salami, Louis Berry, Milk Teeth, Moose Blood, PC Music All Stars, Pinegrove, Pup, Rationale, Royce Wood Junior, Spring King, Stompy’s Playground, Sunflower Bean, Will Varley, Vant, Xockha, and Zibra.

Festival organiser Rob da Bank said, "Yup, we all love a stonking big headliner at Bestival, and huge DJs and bands that have sold millions of records smashing it on our stages, but mostly where you’ll find me across the weekend at Bestival is in our Invaders stage checking out the new bands. Once more we’ve gone mentally diverse from Radio 1 and SXSW darling’s Danny L Harle, Pup and Sunflower Bean through the amazing Eska and a takeover from the hottest label out there, PC Music, to local island talent Born Ina Barn and Xockha. The Cure will headline Saturday night, Major Lazer top Friday night’s main stage and Hot Chip headline Thursday night in the Big Top. Phase 2 tickets are priced at £190 for Adult Tickets and £120 for Teen (age 13-17) Tickets. Student tickets are priced at £180 (For full-time students only. Valid NUS or ISIC ID required at the box office. No other student ID accepted). Tickets for children (age 12 & under) are free (but must have a ticket). A campervan ticket is priced at £90 (per vehicle), a caravan pass is £100, and car parking is priced at £15 advance. A Wild Copse adult tickets is priced at £299, a Wild Copse teen ticket is priced at £149.50, and Wild Copse Child tickets are free. Prices are currently the same for Friday or Thursday entry.

Once again this year Bestival are adding on a £1 charity donation onto all Bestival tickets. The money raised will go directly to the Isle Of Wight Youth Trust (Reg Charity no. 1087163) to help fund their work offering counselling and support to young people aged 25 and under on the Isle of Wight. The Bestival Foundation is also a proud supporter of the Youth Trust.

There is also a new VIP Ticket, which not only gives fast track entry on arrivL on site but also gives exclusive access to an all new VIP area that will include a viewing platform with exceptional Main Stage views. The VIP area also has its own cocktail bar, seating and toilet facilities and will host exclusive parties held after the Main Stage closes.
