Billy Bragg, Eric Bibb, and Walter Trout join the line up for Lead Belly Fest.

Headliners Van Morrison, Eric Burdon, and Jools Holland, plus Paul Jones, Gwen Dickey's Rose Royce, Dennis Locorriere, Josh White Jnr, Laurence Jones, Mick Rogers, Gemma Ray, Ruby Turner,and Slim Chance will also perform as part of the special show, which will pay tribute to the life and works of iconic folk-blues singer, songwriter and guitarist, Lead Belly, happening on Monday 15th June, at the Royal Albert Hall.

Lead Belly Fest is a tribute festival with a difference, a night dedicated to the life and works of iconic folk-blues singer, songwriter and guitarist, Lead Belly, whose ability to perform a vast repertoire of songs influenced the likes of Kurt Cobain and Led Zeppelin to name a few.  The one night only event at The Royal Albert Hall, will feature an array of attractions including a photo exhibition and original Lead Belly memorabilia (In his notebooks, Cobain listed Lead Belly's "Last Session Vol. 1" as one of the 50 albums most influential to the formation of Nirvana's sound)

The evening will take the form of a tribute concert to Lead Belly with numerous high-profile acts from around the world performing their musical homage to the great man.

The charities being supported by the gig are The Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice Care, The Lead Belly Estate and The Lead Belly Foundation

Lead Belly Fest will feature an array of attractions including a photo exhibition and original Lead Belly memorabilia.
