One of the most highly regarded and respected events on the folk music scene founded in 1980 Wimborne Minster Folk Festival held from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th June 2015.

The first acts confirmed are Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, Wimborne's own Will McNicol, drummer Luke Selby, Louise Jordan, Kadia, and Dorset's Ninebarrow.

More acts, dance groups and activities are set to be announced in the coming months.

Super early bird tickets are priced at £35.

Wimborne Minster Folk Festival promises three days of 'folk, family and fun', with the much-loved mix of dance displays, family activities, workshops and stalls returning to the historic minster town's streets.

Chairman of the festival committee, Moe Kochar, said, "We are very excited to unveil these five incredible acts as a special sneak preview of what’s building to be an unmissable line-up for 2015.

"The festival is going from strength to strength, with a great team of volunteers in place and plans for 2015 taking shape nicely. Our super early bird tickets won’t hang around, so get them while you can."
