The clock has started ticking down until tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival 2015 go on sale, with the closing date for those wanting to register to buy tickets revealed.

Registration will be temporarily suspended before and during the main ticket selling period, with ticket registration closing at 23:59 on Tuesday 30th September, and will remain closed until tickets have gone on sale.

The date means ticket buyers can expect coach + ticket packages which like this year will be sold in advance of the general sale to go on sale later that week, and suggests general tickets may well go on sale on Sunday 5th October 2014.

Anyone aged 13 or over (when the Festival starts) who wishes to buy a ticket must be registered. Registration requires providing basic contact details and uploading a passport-standard photo. Once the photo has been approved, registers are sent a unique registration number that will need to be quoted to book a ticket.

It is important to note that those who registered their details online do still have valid numbers for buying tickets for 2015. click here to check you are registered.

Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket in the resale, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2015.

Each ticket sold will feature a photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. An existing registration can be checked here.

For those who register Seetickets aim to respond to all registrations within 24 hours during the working week. If you have not had a response from them within that time frame we would suggest the following 3 courses of action:

1) Check your spam/junk email folder, in case your email has been rejected by your service provider

3) Re-register at https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Registration/Register

Ticket prices for next year's Glastonbury Festival which takes place at a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2015 have not yet been confirmed .
