Each day of Glastonbury Festival we'll be bringing you a daily dose of the Festival from right here on site.

Today's the first day of the Festival proper, this morning gates opened and people have been streaming onto the dry site.

The weather is forecast to remain dry today, and most of tomorrow. The site looks lovely with green fields, many of the stalls are open, and today is the day to enjoy it.

There are rumours floating around that The Kooks could make an appearance in the John Peel tent on Sunday.

Tonight it's the eFestivals meet in the Cabaret Field bar, with music from DJ Dad.
