Also confirmed to join the Forties inspired French leftfield Electro swing and Gypsy Jazz band at the fourth Eden gathering are Sam and The Womp, Craig Charles with his his Funk & Soul Club, Shy FX & Stamina, and The Carny Villains.

Other acts confirmed for the June celebration of art and music include The Correspondents, Electric Swing Circus, and festival favourites Slamboree, in total over 230 acts will appear. 80's exercise guru and cult figure Mr. Motivator is also confirmed to make an appearance.

Festival media officer Sid Ambrose remarked, "Eclectic, enthralling, bespoke, organic, homespun, handcrafted and unique are just some of the descriptions synonymous with this event. Around 300 volunteers are striving to create a festival which is a medley of art forms and envelope pushing music. Eden has once again produced a line up which avoids obvious choices going through the motions of past glories."

The aim behind the festival is to provide a 3 day celebration of music, dance, culture and community built on an ecologically sound and carbon friendly set of principles, exhibiting live music alongside decorations and surroundings. Eden is characterised by a laid back atmosphere and a huge range of performance acts from Burlesque through to Balkan Gypsy and Electronica.

The fifth Eden Festival takes place just off the M74 and is situated on Victorian style parkland at Raehills Meadow between the towns of Dumfries and Moffat.

Early bird tickets are on sale priced at £69, a teen (12-15 yrs old) ticket is priced at £49, with children under 12 able to attend for free. Campervan passes and car parking passes will be available at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.

This year's fancy dress theme is 'Under the Sea'.
