Eden the family friendly festival, returns to Raehills Meadows, Moffat, in Dumfries and Galloway from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th June 2018.

This festival offers music across multiple stages, plus a drive in cinema, kids arena, comedy, circus kills, and  cabaret, as well as a feast of performers, artworks, workshops, horticulture, games and more.

Line-up

Confirmed acts include headliners Groove Armada (DJ set), Submotion Orchestra, and DJ Super Hans from Peep Show, along with Shooglenifty, Bez's Acid House, Peatbog Faeries, Plump DJs, Mungos Hi Fi, Eat Static, Stanton Warriors, Ghetto Funk All Stars, Zion Train, Electric Swing Circus, Cut Capers, Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer, and more, with many more to be announced.

Expect around 300 acts in total on twelve different stages, of hip hop, dance, RnB, acoustic, soul, funk, dubstep, disco, dancehall, electronica, ska, pop, African dance, jungle, balkan beat,  drum & bass and Celtic music,

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £129 for adults and £94 for teens. Children aged 12 and under can attend for free, accompanied by a ticket holding guardian aged 21+. Day tickets also available.

Tickets operate in a tiered system, and will go up in price in increments of £10 as they sell out. All tickets include a £5 refundable eco bond deposit.

Ethos

The aim behind the festival is to provide a 4 day celebration of music, dance, culture and community built on an ecologically sound and carbon friendly set of principles, exhibiting live music alongside decorations and surroundings.

The Eden Festival is now organised by Galloway Arts Community Interest company, a non profit organisation run by members of the local community.

The festival will feature a range of activities for children of all ages, including craft workshops, a mammoth parachute, giant kerplunk, sock wrestling, drama and dance workshops, forest skills, and more.
