Herman Dune, and Crystal Stilts have been added to the headliners of this year's Indietracks Festival held in the grounds of a 1950's steam railway in Ripley, Derbyshire.

Formed in Paris a decade ago Herman Dune released their first professional studio album, 'Giant', in 2006, attracting wider recognition, their new album, 'Strange Moosic' is released at the end of the month.

Crystal Stilts emerged from Brooklyn's post-punk indie scene in 2008 with a string of releases that culminated in their debut album 'Alight Of Night'. Following extensive tours of the US and Europe, the band released their second album 'In Love With Oblivion', which includes the single 'Shake The Shackles' last month.

In other news Ringo Deathstarr are now no longer able to appear at this year's festival.

Around 50 indiepop bands will be playing at the festival across four stages: the outdoor stage; the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves. The festival will also host a range of art and craft workshops and a selection of discos after the bands finish. The first headline acts have been confirmed as Suburban Kids With Biblical Names, Jonny, Edwyn Collins, The Hidden Cameras, and Jeffrey Lewis, other acts previously announced are Math and Physics Club, The Wendy Darlings, The Sweet Nothings, Next Time Passions, Very Truly Yours, The Garlands, and Zipper. The festival, now in it's fifth year, takes place from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st of July, is held in the grounds of Butterley Station, a picturesque 1950s steam railway in Derbyshire. The site houses a whole range of lovingly restored steam diesels and locomotives. Festival goers are allowed to have unlimited rides on the steam railway over the weekend and full access to other railway attractions including a farm and museum.

Weekend tickets are now available at an early bird discount price of £60, and day tickets are available for £32.50. This price is available until Friday 6th May. After this date, weekend tickets will be £65 and day tickets £35. Tickets for children aged 5-14 are £6 for a day ticket and £10 for the weekend. Under-5s get in free. To buy tickets, click here.
